Excellence in Arabic Debate: FLL Student Crowned Champion and Best Debater

Heartiest congratulations are extended to Ammar bin Sharmijasdy, a 3rd year student from the Department of Arabic and Middle Eastern Languages, on his outstanding achievement as part of Team ALPHA, together with Wan Nur Muhammad (APIUM) and Aleya Sofea (Faculty of Business and Economics), who emerged as Champion (Arabic Language Category) in the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Student Affairs)’s Cup Debate Competition organized by the Majlis Orator Universiti Malaya (MORUM).

In addition, Ammar was also awarded Best Debater of the Final Round, further underscoring his excellence, dedication, and mastery in the field. The Faculty of Languages and Linguistics takes immense pride in this remarkable accomplishment and hopes that it will serve as an inspiration and a benchmark of excellence for our students particularly those from the Department of Arabic and Middle Eastern Languages to continue striving for success and actively pursuing their passions.
