Congratulations to FLL for Breaking into Top 50 and Top 100 in QS Subject Rankings 2025
I am delighted to share the wonderful news that the Faculty of Languages and Linguistics has achieved significant improvements in the QS World University Rankings by Subject.
We are proud to announce that we have not only improved our position within the Top 100 for Modern Languages but have also achieved remarkable progress in other key areas. This year, we made an exceptional leap into the Top 100 for Linguistics, showcasing our growing influence in the field. Most notably, we have reached a groundbreaking milestone by breaking into the Top 50 globally for English Language and Literature—a testament to our unwavering commitment to academic excellence.
Our rankings now are as below:
English Language and Literature - 46 (Top 5 % globally)
Modern Languages - 60 (Top 3% globally)
Linguistics - 78
This achievement is a testament to the dedication and hard work of our academics, researchers, students, as well as our administrative and operational staff, whose commitment to excellence continues to strengthen our faculty’s reputation. It also reflects the impact of our research and academic programs, which are shaping the field of language studies at an international level.
