Sharing Session for Industrial Training Chinese Program


Chinese New Year Reunion Dinner-Year  1-3 students and Lecturers.

Chinese New Year Lantern Festival- Luncheon Gathering for Chinese Program Lecturers,FBL and China Studies Lecturers,FSS. 
Date: 2 Mac 2018, Time: 12.30 p.m.- 2.00 p.m. 

Venue: Department of Chinese Studies,FSS.


“Chinese Program Year 3 students had their industrial training in different publishing companies, radio station, advertising companies and private schools.”


Department of Malaysian Languages and Applied Linguistics (Chinese Language) organised Chinese Characters Dictation Competition on 10.11.2017 at Dewan Mengkula. The aim for this activity is to enlighten Chinese students to appreciate and inherit the Chinese character culture.


1st International Conference of Language and Linguistics and Science Social 2017 at Sultan Idris Education University (UPSI), Tanjung Malim on 13th & 14th May 2017 (Saturday & Sunday)

34 students and 3 lecturers participated the conference.

21 students has submitted full articles for the conference.

2 PhD students, 5 Masters students, and 12 Degree students (11 from 4th year and 1 from 3rd year) from Tamil Programme presented papers.

 All the conference papers are published in 5 e-books at http://talias.org/


On the 1st of June 2017,  the exchange students from Konstanz Uni had their BM course evaluation (they've been learning it here this whole semester). They gave oral presentations in BM and a German song after that. "


Hosting Visiting from Minzu University of China.

They are 2 Prof and 9 Phd Candidate (7 of them are China students, 1 of them Malaysian and 1 of them from Indonesia) all together are 11 persons to visit the staff and students of Chinese Programme .

The objectives for hosting visiting :

1.Engage in formal or informal discussions with graduate students.

2.Build a relationship between China and Malaysia higher education.

3.Undertake collaborative research with faculty or staff or students.

Bengkel Linguistik Pengkomputeran Tamil 30.09.2016 (Jumaat) hingga 02.10.2016 (Ahad)


A group of exchange students (8) from Constance University of Applied Sciences is here to attend a BM course conducted by the Dept of Malaysian Languages and Applied Linguistics for this semester. They are also the buddies for our German major students in the Asia-European department.
